The Firefly Bivvy Marker is a compact, self-glowing tag designed to help you easily locate tent and bag zippers in complete darkness—no need for flashlights or chemical lights. Each marker contains a 1.5 x 6 mm trigalight® GTLS (Gaseous Tritium Light Source) housed in a tough, clear polycarbonate shell and secured with a stainless steel split-ring for quick attachment.

Glowing continuously for over 10 years without any batteries, charging, or exposure to light, the Bivvy Marker is perfect for camping, military use, night fishing, or emergency preparedness. It's also discreet enough for covert or general low-light marking.

How It Works:

Inside each Bivvy Marker is a sealed borosilicate glass capsule filled with a small amount of gaseous tritium. As the gas decays, it emits beta particles that safely energize a phosphor coating inside the tube, creating a soft, continuous glow—no need for external power, ambient light, or user activation. These units are non-electrical, non-toxic, and operate silently for a minimum of 10 years without any maintenance.
