Illumination Technology:

Nite GlowRings use advanced trigalight® Gaseous Tritium Light Source (GTLS) technology, offering a safe, reliable, and continuous self-powered light source. This technology eliminates the need for batteries, external charging, or ambient light, making GlowRings entirely maintenance-free.

GTLS technology functions through a sealed borosilicate glass capsule filled with a minute amount of gaseous tritium. The low-energy beta particles emitted energise a phosphor coating inside the capsule, producing a continuous glow. Without any moving parts or switches, Nite GlowRings remain permanently illuminated, providing continuous, reliable service for over 10 years, even in complete darkness. Suitable for use underwater and in extreme temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C, these devices are also rated safe for Zone 0 hazardous environments.
